Malcolm qualified as a Chartered Architect in 1986, graduating from the University of Liverpool.
Prior to founding Malcolm Jenkins Associates in 1990, he worked at Broadway Malyan and as a partner at E G Fisher & Associates, an architectural practice which had been in Shepperton since 1960. Malcolm’s depth of experience in planning and design has resulted in a strong record of achieving positive planning outcomes and delivering high quality projects across Surrey, Middlesex and South West London.
Chris studied BSc(Hons) Chemical Engineering at the University of Leeds, while working part time as an Architectural Assistant for Malcolm Jenkins Associates. He decided to join the practice full time in 2007 after realising his interest for the built environment. Chris is currently responsible for project managing the design and construction process and producing detailed CAD drawings.
Katherine graduated with First Class Honours in BA(Hons) Architecture from The University of Manchester in 2012. She decided to further her architectural education at The University of Bath, obtaining her MSc in Architectural Engineering in 2013, returning to MJA Architects in 2014. She commenced the RIBA Examination in Architecture for Office-based candidates in 2016, obtaining her RIBA Diploma in Architecture in 2018, and is currently completing her Part III qualification to become RIBA Chartered. She is responsible for the technical co-ordination of projects and preparation of drawings for planning, tendering and construction purposes.
